Accent Reduction Classroom

The Accent Reduction Coaching Program is for serious students who want a focused and very personal program that will help them improve their American English pronunciation and reduce their accent.

In this six week course we use your personal profile and two speech samples to create a customized program that will help you learn to communicate easily and efficiently in American English. If you are working with American English speakers on a daily basis in business or academic settings this may be the best course for you.

In the Accent Reduction Coaching Program we will work with you one-on-one for six weeks as you work toward your personal communication goals.

This is How it Works:

1. You  submit a Pronunciation Profile Questionnaire that describes your English background and personal communication goals.
2. You then submit a recording of your speech (instructions on how to do this will be provided).
3. We will carefully evaluate your speech samples and profile. You will then receive an oral and written evaluation that includes your top 3 pronunciation problems. At this time we will review your personalized 6 week Study Plan with you.
4. You will receive weekly accent reduction assignments based on your evaluation. These assignments will include: lessons from your accent reduction book and CD, online video lessons, audio lessons and customized handouts.
5. You will meet with your Accent Coach for 4 one hour tele-sessions to practice the accent reduction techniques from your lessons and to receive feedback on your progress.
6. At the end of the 6 weeks your Accent Coach will provide you with a written progress report that includes specific techniques and study resources that you can use to continue to learn and practice.
